Your Gateway to Lakeside Fun in Chase
Little Shu Paddlesports offers affordable, family-friendly rentals of kayaks, stand-up paddleboards (SUPs), and party islands, perfect for cooling off, getting active, or relaxing on the lake.
No experience needed, our on-site team will help you get set up and feeling confident. All rentals include lifejackets, paddles, and required safety equipment. A signed waiver is required. With calm, clear waters and stunning views of the surrounding mountains, Little Shuswap Lake is ideal for paddlers of all ages and abilities.
Whether you’re after a quiet solo paddle on mirror-like waters, planning a lakeside adventure with your kids, or gathering friends for a sunny float and some Shuswap scenery, Little Shu Paddlesports has you covered.
Rentals are available by the hour or day, and group bookings are always welcome.
We are located at Memorial Park, just steps from the iconic red pier and the heart of Chase. Our park kiosk is open select days during the summer (weather permitting). If you’d like to rent equipment on a day when our park location is closed, we can likely accommodate your request — as long as the booking is made no later than 3:00 PM the day before your desired rental time. Just contact us to arrange a booking.

Little Shu Paddlesports is more than just a rental shop, it’s a community collaboration, made possible thanks to the support of Beem Credit Union and operated as a social enterprise by the Chase Festival Society, Chase Chamber & Visitor Centre, and Chase & Area Family Services.
We are excited to fill a gap and provide the only kayak and paddleboard rental service in Chase.
All profits are reinvested into local tourism, arts, and recreation projects that help strengthen our community and create opportunities for everyone to connect with the water and each other.
