After years of planning, upgrades, inspections, and countless hours of volunteer work behind the scenes, Shuswap Adventure Park is ready to welcome its first guests.
The park officially opens for tours on Saturday, July 18, marking the beginning of a new chapter for one of Chase’s most recognizable attractions. Building on the legacy of TreeTop Flyers, owner Steven Kostamo has partnered with the Chase Chamber & Visitor Centre to relaunch the attraction as Shuswap Adventure Park through a community-focused partnership designed to create local employment, strengthen visitor experiences, and continue growing new opportunities in Chase.
“We’re incredibly excited to finally welcome guests,” said Brock Endean, a Director with the Chase Chamber & Visitor Centre. “This project has been years in the making, and while many people will recognize the attractions, this is much more than a reopening. We’ve built a new team, refreshed the guest experience, and are creating the foundation for something that can continue to grow alongside our community.”
The Chamber’s involvement has been made possible through the first round of funding from the Choose Chase Impact Fund, with support from Chase & Area Family Services, Chase Lions Club, Donna Smith-Bradley PREC Century 21 Lakeside Realty, RedPier Consulting, and a private donor.
Guests can choose from several guided experiences, including the park’s signature Chasing Waterfalls Tour, featuring all three ziplines—including the Flying Fox racing lines at base camp and two spectacular ziplines soaring above Chase Creek Falls. For those looking to experience it all, the Ultimate Adventure combines all three ziplines with the 50-foot Lynx Leap QuickJump and the 100-foot Screaming Eagle giant swing, featuring approximately 30 feet of freefall.
Both the Chasing Waterfalls Tour and Ultimate Adventure are offered daily at 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. and can be booked online.
The Base Camp Challenge and individual attractions, including the Flying Fox, Lynx Leap, and Screaming Eagle, are also available throughout the summer based on staff availability. Guests interested in these experiences are encouraged to call, email, or stop by the Chase Chamber & Visitor Centre to book.
“We’ve spent the last several weeks training an incredible team of local guides,” said Jeremy Bankes, General Manager of Shuswap Adventure Park. “Safety is our highest value, and creating an experience where guests feel supported and encouraged is what drives us. Whether it’s your first zipline, your first jump, or simply trying something outside your comfort zone, there’s something special about discovering you’re capable of more than you thought.”
The team is asking for patience and understanding during the first few weeks of operation.
“Although many people remember TreeTop Flyers, this is really a new opening rather than a reopening,” said Endean. “We’ve been building new systems, training a new team, and refining the guest experience from the ground up. We’re grateful for the encouragement and support we’ve received from the community as we begin this next chapter.”

Daily tours are now available, with private group bookings for birthdays, youth groups, team-building events, and other special occasions also available throughout the season.
